Question: What size boat can I bring up to the Club?
Answer: The MAXIMUM length for any boat which we can accommodate at Midmar is 27 feet, and the MAXIMUM weight of any boat is 2,5 tonnes. Any boats heavier than this can’t be launched into the dam using either the Club or the Ezemvelo Wildlife slipways as these slipways weren’t designed to take this weight. Any keelboats longer than this length will be a hazard to other boats when they are on a mooring.
